Well, that was an interesting way to change things up.

On Suits Season 7 Episode 11, Harvey and Louis tried to find a way for the form to thrive after Jessica being disbarred, but Harvey also had to deal with the ramifications of that kiss he shared with Donna on Suits Season 7 Episode 10.

Say what you want about Louis, but nobody can take away from him the fact that he knows what to do when the heat is turned up all the way.

He was relentless and knew what he needed to do to save the firm. The idea for the scathing press release about Jessica was difficult for him to even suggest to Harvey, but it was all in the name of getting the upper hand on the media storm that was headed their way,

With Gina Torres fronting a spinoff of the series, there had to be something in the way of resolution for Jessica to separate from the events in New York.

She's in Chicago, and that's where her story will continue on the spinoff. Having her name removed from the building was a long time coming because it was a constant reminder of the fiery character.

The loss of Jessica dealt a big blow to Suits creatively, but the powers that be are doing their best to get the show back to what it once was.

While I'm glad the feelings between Harvey and Donna are finally being explored, it all feels like something that should have happened a few seasons ago.

If anything, the chemistry between Harvey and Donna fizzled because they took so long to act on their feelings. Harvey turning to Paula in the aftermath and asking her to move in with him was so disrespectful.

It was like he was telling himself that he did not have feelings for Donna, and he thought Paula moving in would turn off his emotions.

Yes, that meant he was in denial for much of "Hard Truths" and even lashed out at Donna on quite a few occasions. Donna was too consumed with her love for Harvey to even think about the fact that Harvey was in a relationship with Paula.

If Paula had any sense, she would cut her relationship with Harvey short because this is not going to end well for either of them.

How can Paula be expected to be okay with Harvey working so closely with Donna after the kiss, and learning they indulged in a one-night stand long ago?

I hope Paula knows her worth and calls time on the relationship because their it is not going anywhere while Donna is still around.

I actually forgot Paula was part of the equation until Harvey stormed into his apartment and she was sitting there waiting for him.

Harvey was frustrating throughout much of the hour, and that's because the way he handled the situation. He initially chose to blame Donna and deny the chemistry they shared.

I couldn't be mad at Donna because she held all of those feelings inside for so long, and she thought it was now or never. What I would love them to do is separate their personal life from their business life.

The whole meeting with Kyle Clementi was plain unprofessional. Taking jabs at each other in the presence of a potential partner left a bad taste in my mouth.

The firm is supposed to be working on its image, and that's difficult to do when those two are acting like it's their first rodeo. Hopefully, this is the end of their bickering because I could care less about it.

The firm comes first, and the sooner they realize that, the better.

With the news that Meghan Markle and Patrick Adams are exiting Suits at the close of Season 7, it makes sense that their storylines are starting to wind down.

It would not surprise me if Mike and Rachel got married, went on their honeymoon and decided to stay on an island somewhere away from the world of law.

If you watch Suits online, they have both had a rough time of it over the years, and it's time for them to get married and move on. It was cute that Mike wanted to work with Rachel on the case against Larry.

Although Rachel was apprehensive at first, I loved that she went with Mike to confront Larry about what was going on with the stock.

The argument between Alex and Mike, however, felt so forced that I rolled my eyes as soon as it kicked off. In life, there are people who will never get along with each other, and Alex and Mike fall into that category.

There is nothing that will make them get along for more than a few scenes.

"Hard Truths" wasn't the best premiere of Suits, but it wasn't the worst. The episode was all about moving the goal posts to give some of the characters purpose again.
