The veteran TV Land series is moving to Paramount Network for its recently ordered sixth season and will air on the newly launched network in the spring.
What's more, it will be moving from Tuesdays to Thursdays. The changes keep on coming for this addictive comedy series which focuses on a forty-something woman posing as a millennial to increase her job prospects.
Younger Season 5 recently wrapped and remained a viable option in the ratings department. It averaged 0.7 million viewers and a 0.2 rating among adults 18-49.
However, the numbers swelled as much as 150% when seven days of DVR were factored into the equation.

Paramount Network has also given the green light to Emily in Paris, a 10-episode dramedy from Younger creator, Darren Star.

“[Keith Cox, President of Development and Original Programming for Paramount Network] and his entire team inspire me with their passion and enthusiasm.”
Younger and Emily In Paris join a scripted line-up that currently includes American Woman, Yellowstone, and the upcoming series, First Wives Club.
First Wives Club landed a series order earlier this year and is a reboot of the movie of the same name.
The series will be set in New York City and follow "three women, Ari, Bree, and Hazel who band together after their marriages fall apart, and who find strength in their sisterhood – and of course a little revenge."

It sounds like the perfect show to be paired with Younger.
Paramount Network will be looking to capitalize on the success of Yellowstone, but it remains to be seen whether the network will be able to appeal to a mass audience aside from that show.
