Oliver found himself in a lot of trouble when someone leaked his identity to the media.

After the dark hell that Prometheus put Oliver through last season, our Emerald Archer has been through a lot. I never expect to see Arrow to ever be as light as the other DC shows. <P><P> But that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t see a little brighter Green Arrow. Maybe by the time we get to the second half of the new season, Oliver can be at a place where he is at least filled with hope again. <P><P> It’s rare to see Oliver crack a joke or smile and I’m not saying they have to overdo it. If I can’t have that then at least they can give him the goatee this year. <P><P> We saw on an old version of Oliver on Legends of Tomorrow with a goatee which he looked GREAT with. Arrow doesn’t get to deal with the sci-fi elements as often as the other Arrowverse shows. While we will meet a Nazi version of the Green Arrow in the mega crossover, I want more than that. <P><P> I would love in some capacity to see doppelgangers of the Arrow characters this season. Since we’re not getting a Supergirl/The Flash crossover, maybe a Flash/Arrow mini-crossover instead? <P><P> Because it’s really through The Flash that Arrow can play with the Multiverse element. They had a success with bringing in a Laurel Lance from a different Earth. So I’d be down for bringing in another dead character from the Multiverse. <P<P> Anyone else down for a Tommy Merlyn of Earth-3 maybe? I’m just putting it out there.

I’m confident that I wasn’t the only viewer that celebrated when the 5-year flashbacks story finally came to an end. But if you think we’re done with flashbacks, you may need to rethink that. <P><P> Supposedly we’re still getting flashbacks in some capacity, but not from Oliver’s perspective that much. If we have to sit through flashbacks at some point then all I ask for is that they have a point and are enjoyable. <P><P> Don’t force yourself to include flashbacks in the script if it doesn’t have a point. I expect there to be flashbacks of what happened to each person after the explosion. <P><P> But beyond that, I only want to see flashbacks to things that absolutely need to be shown. Even I, who love Black Siren so much, wouldn’t want them to overdo it. <P><P> Maybe just one or two sets of Siren flashbacks to show us Earth-2’s Oliver and also a significant point in Laurel’s transformation into Black Siren.
