9-1-1
Thursdays 8:00 PM on ABC9-1-1 Quotes
Bobby: This is not what we do in recovery. We can’t hide these kinds of things from each other. We can’t. We rely on each other.
Athena: Well, sometimes the darkness is too deep. You can’t see the hands that are reaching out to help you.
Buck: Uh, what should we do? Isn’t it dangerous to wake a sleepwalker?
Chimney: Probably not as dangerous as driving while sleeping.
Buck: Every year, I think, well, that’s it. We’ve seen everything now, and then the Santa Ana’s blow in, and it’s like, oh look, something weirder.
Eddie: A severed hand. We’ve seen those before.
Buck: Yeah, usually in the general vicinity of its owner.
Hen: Can you imagine not knowing your own child?
Chimney: Is this about Denny?
Hen: I know this is normal. That he’s going to have questions. And the best thing that we can do is be honest.
Chimney: But you don’t want to be honest?
Hen: I want to tell him that we picked him out of a magical cabbage patch and never have to talk again about his biological parents.
Denny: He’s a smart kid. He didn’t fall for that story when he was five.
Hen: It’s just I spent so much time thinking about him as mine. I’m not sure I’m ready to share.
Chimney: He’s always going to be yours, Hen. No matter how many questions he asks.
Chimney: Everything okay, Cap?
Bobby: You smell that?
Buck: A fire.
Buck: I figured it's never too soon for her to learn that girls can be heroes, too.
Hen: Facts.
Hen: May's had a different experience than her friends. Two years of dealing with life-or-death emergencies. She's grown up because of that.
Athena: Yeah, I'm still waiting for her to realize that. That her life experiences don't just make her different, they are actually her superpower.
Eddie: There aren't any tall buildings around here.
Buck: Right. And unless that song was based in truth, I don't think it's ever actually raining men.
Bobby: How are you feeling about all this?
Athena: Seeing my daughter safe and happy is a dream come true.
Bobby: There is nothing quite like being young and in love.
Athena: Or just in love.
Maddie: Are you sure that you're okay with her all day?
Buck: Are you kidding me? I get to spend the whole day with my niece. I'm living the dream.
Eddie: Why do they keep coming back?
Hen: Their queen must be trapped underneath.
Buck: Okay, well, then let's get her out.
Buck: So, you still don't think she's cursed?
Eddie: No, I'm starting to think I am.
