A woman taking her daughter to see Santa discovers her husband at the same place with a wife and children she didn’t know existed. When confronted, Arthur runs away and gets hit by a trolley.

Eddie and Christopher put up their Christmas tree and decorate, but Christmas rides Eddie hard about getting the decorations just right. The following day he wakes up to Christopher having a nightmare about his mother.

The 118 has a toy drive at the station, and both Buck and Taylor fret over what to get one another for the holiday.

Athena is called to the hospital where Arthur’s two wives are fighting. Eventually, they both decide they deserve better and ask for a divorce. After Eddie accidentally messes up his gingerbread house, Christopher gets upset and tells Eddie that he’s fearful he could be dead the following year.

Athena visits Phyllis, a woman who has been calling 911 excessively. Phyllis talks about her estrangement from her daughter, and Athena encourages her to reach out.

A man hits the pole of his apartment building, causing it to collapse partially. After saving the man, Eddie has to red tape the structure, and the residents are moved to a hotel for Christmas. The next day, Bobby and the team bring Christmas to the hotel where the residents are.

Eddie tells the team that he is leaving the 118.
