Boden talks to Brett about her attachment to the baby she saved. 

They get a call to the same neighborhood as the crack house. They work to free a man who's leg is trapped and needs to be amputated. Will Halstead is called to the scene. 

Jamie visits Severide at work and tells him she's close to being fired. 

The wife of the man who lost his leg comes to the house with a video proving they did everything they could at the crack house fire. 

Jimmy's brother is trying to get him moved to his firehouse. 

Chili is worried about Brett's distractions over the baby. They answer a call and Brett runs in, getting them held up at gunpoint. He forces them to treat a severely injured man. Brett stands up to him and he runs away. 

Dawson finds new evidence in the arson case, but her boss still doesn't think it's enough. 

The house gets called to rescue people stuck in an elevator including a young girl with asthma. 

Brett confronts the baby's father and he visits his son. 

Jimmy tells his brother he doesn't want to switch houses. 

Dawson goes to Boden with her arson evidence. He calls a reporter. 

Jamie is defending Dawson's arson suspect. Severide is understandably upset. 

Dawson and Boden discover their evidence is gone and Dawson collapses in pain.
