In Kansas City in 2021, Sara, Mick, Astra, and Spooner track an alien pod. They find the pod. Inside it, they find a puzzle box. The box transports them to a cosmic bowling alley.

Nate takes Zari 1.0 on a date at a campsite on Earth. She only has twenty-four hours before she has to go back into the totem. There, they run into a couple named Jeff and Jamie.

Ava asks Gary to help her find her wedding dress.

In the bowling alley, Spooner makes a bet with an alien named Mike the Strike. She and the Legends have to beat Mike's team -- the Pin Killers -- to get a ride out of there.

Sara talks with the bowling alley's owner, Buddy. He invited them by sending them the puzzle box because he wanted them to defeat the Pin Killers.

Nate's Time Courier starts malfunctioning. Zari tries to fix it, but she taps into a frequency. They hear a man ranting about the world ending because of massive chasms appearing around North America.

Nate and Zari ask Jeff if they can borrow his truck, but Jeff suggests that he and Jamie go with them. But the battery is dead. They head into town on foot.

Constantine and Behrad, on the Waverider, try to head to Earth to find Sara and the rest of the gang, but Gideon cannot lock onto Earth. They tell Gary to keep Ava occupied while they find out what is going on.

Constantine casts a spell, with the help of Behrad, to transport the Waverider to Earth. However, he transports them to the cosmic bowling alley.

Ava and Gary, having felt the ship shake, find Constantine and Behrad. They tell Ava what has been happening and she leaves for the blowing alley.

Ava finds Sara, but she can't enter the place because she wasn't invited. They figure out that Mike the Strike and his team are hiding Earth in the bowling alley. He is using it as a bowling ball.

Zari, Nate, Jeff, and Jamie find one of the chasms. It's one of the finger holes on the bowling ball.

The Legends realize that if they lose to the Pin Killers, themselves and Earth will be banished to the Pin Killers' trophy case.

Spooner jams one of her fingers on a bowling ball. They start to lose to the Pin Killers.

Sara, with some advice from Buddy, pumps the Legends up and brings them together.

Zari uses a blaster on Earth to zap Mike's finger when he tries to bowl. Nate's Time Courier starts working and they go back to the Waverider.

The game comes down to Astra. She needs to roll a strike to win. Sara teaches her how to bowl granny style, and the Legends win.

Sara gets the Earth bowling ball back and rolls it back into the universe.

Buddy opens the bowling alley up for everyone.
