Jughead's narration talks about a dead body on the road. Archie is back from the dead, but Betty reveals she had a nightmare of the town sacrificing him. Fangs had a nightmare of Toni drowning and coming back as a ghost.

Both Veronica and Reggie had the same dream of them encountering the devil. Cheryl and Nana Blossom had dreams of them swapping bodies. Jughead had a nightmare of the house exploding.

Jughead woke up in Archie's garage with cuts on his foot. Jughead is having his first day at Rivervale High. He sees visions of the past, like Archie with Ms. Grundy and Veronica/Kevin/Betty walking together.

Jughead sees his teenage self with the beanie drinking from a water fountain. Ben Button is still alive and walks out from a bathroom stall; Jughead panics because he knows Ben killed himself and he died before Mr. Chipping.

The group hangs out in the Rivervale High lounge. Betty and Archie reveal they're getting married on the weekend.

Betty gets a call from Dr. Curdle Jr. that he found the dead body of Jughead. Jughead visits the morgue to see the dead body of another Jughead; the room experiences an electrical and glass-shattering experience.

Jughead visits the town sign and sees the back like a mirror. Jughead finds "Rivervale" and "Riverdale" comics in the backpack of the dead Jughead. Jughead reads through the comics.

Jughead tells Tabitha about his theory about Rivervale/Riverdale. She and he read through all of the comics. Archie says he had a dream about an explosion, but he doesn't know the truth about the comics.

Veronica reveals that in Rivervale her father Hiram died before her 15th birthday, but in Riverdale, he's the big bad. Reggie is curious why he looks like two different people in the comics.

Cheryl reveals that Jason Blossom is alive, but Jughead is positive that Jason died. Jason returns alive to prove the anomaly. Jughead views the yearbook to find Jason Blossoms "In Memorium" page.

The Reggie from Riverdale Season 1 returns as the second Reggie at Veronica's door.

Jughead discovers that Dilton Doily is still alive and has the book he needs. Ethel is Dilton's teaching assistant.

Dilton agrees with Jughead's theory, but there's a strange warping going on in town. Dilton tells him to live his life; Jughead disagrees and wants to find the truth.

Reggie 1 and Reggie 2 debate about who is the real Reggie. The original Reggie works as a stripper for Betty's bachelorette party while Reggie 2 goes to Archie's bachelor party. Thoughts of Fred Andrews appear in Archie's thoughts.

Veronica toys with the idea of a threesome/relationship with the two Reggies, but they turn down the idea.

Cheryl gets a ransom note from The Black Hood who kidnapped Jason Blossom. Jughead uses the comics to deduce that Jason was being held at the Whyte Wyrm.

Sheriff Keller, Archie, and Jughead kill The Black Hood in time to save Jason. The Black Hood is revealed to be Clifford Blossom.

Veronica gives the Reggies an ultimatum to work out their issues.

Hal Cooper is alive and is about to give a speech for the engagement. Toni reveals that Cheryl was strangled.

Jughead visits Dilton and Ethel; Dilton knew that the universes would implode on each other and wanted to research it. Dilton dies from the poison that Ethel slipped into his juice.

Veronica finds both Reggies dead after they fought to the death.

Ethel believes that she can save Riverdale. She and Jughead believe that if they recreate the cause of the universe rift, they can pull Riverdale out to stabilize. As a result, Rivervale will die and stop being.

Jughead thinks that if he and Veronica are blown up in Archie's house, it will save Riverdale. They want to replicate the cause of the rift. Veronica agrees to the plan, but only if it's during Archie and Betty's wedding.

Archie reveals he killed Veronica, Cheryl, and the other Jughead. Archie believes that if people die in Rivervale, they come back to life; he wants his father to come back.

Archie and Jughead fight in the house; Archie plans to kill Jughead. Betty shoots and kills Archie in the scuffle. Betty and Jughead try to reenact the same events, but another Jughead stops them from making out and tells them to diffuse the bomb.

Jughead ended up in an Archie Comics-style world of Riverdale after he was killed in Rivervale. Everyone is in their Archie Comics outfits. Jughead read the bridging comic book that would solve the way to save Riverdale and Rivervale.

Resurrected Jughead says that "creation" is the cure to save both worlds. Current Jughead will have to keep writing about Riverdale/Rivervale in isolation; Resurrected Jughead is the narrator of the story.

Resurrected Jughead says Betty will forget about the current Jughead after he's sealed in the bunker. They need Jughead to have the bomb detonate to make their plan succeed.

Current Jughead begins writing in the bunker. Archie reanimates and tries breaking down the door with a bat. Current Jughead writes that the plan was successful; the loop has been restored and Rivervale stays as a universe. He writes that Tabitha and Jughead move into their new apartment together.

Ethel wonders to Jughead what will happen in the Riverdale timeline.

Betty receives a phone call from someone warning her of the bomb in Archie's house. She tells Archie they need to leave immediately.

An explosion rocks Riverdale and blows out Jughead's workstation. Jughead loses his sense of hearing.
