Adam returns after walking out on Corinne. He just wants to know why Corinne cheated with Danny. Maya gets a letter that her mother is up for parole and she's requested to testify. Ellen shows up unexpectedly as Sarah and Paul are bonding. Ellen makes amends with Sarah. Sarah goes to tell Danny that Ellen has returned. Weston informs Sarah that he's been chasing a whistleblower who he believes is Paul. He tries to convince her that he should break the story. The motel manager threatens to kick out Grover unless he gets rid of his dog. Paul asks Sarah to let him tell Danny about his whistleblowing. Corinne admits she's in love with both Adam and Danny. Sarah encourages Danny to stay away from Corinne and Adam. After talking with Paul, Weston seeks quotes from Sarah, who refuses. A.J. pushes Grover to buy a new place. Sarah tries to talk sense into Adam. Grover's dog trashes A.J.'s home and she returns him to Grover at Sweetie Pie. Luis talks to Maya about having her back whatever she decides regarding the hearing. Adam tells Corinne she has to stop spending time with not just Danny but Sarah for him to trust her. Sarah convinces Maya to stand up for her mother. Following her own advice, Sarah agrees to be interviewed by Weston and supports Paul. Ellen makes amends with Danny which he receives brusquely. Danny punches a mirror in his room then goes to Sarah's house, wondering when he gets to be OK. Grover finds a house that he can fix up. Sarah and Weston decide to part ways after his story breaks. Luis is going with Maya to Los Angeles. Corinne informs Sarah they have to stop hanging out for a while so she can repair her marriage.
