- Devon crashes at Conrad's place after breaking up with Leela and admits that they hadn't been discussing this potential issue for a while.
- Conrad finds out from Irving and Hundley that Cade up and quit so they're down an ER doc and need Devon to come in.
- Conrad goes to say goodbye to Cade and talk about what could've been.
- Conrad walks Cade out and she's watching him in the rearview mirror when a drive by shooting happens and she gets multiple GSWs. Conrad brings her back to the hospital.
- Devon's patient is cleared for a lung transplant when the hospital goes into lockdown because of the shooter.
- Conrad shares that Cade was a whistleblower with everyone as they battle to save her
- Conrad realizes that cade was trying to tell him that she has a rare blood type RHnihl before she passed out, so they don''t have blood for her
- Jimmy, the podcast patient is anti vaxx which means he can't have the transplant
- He's refusing the vaccination.
- Leela comes in to assist and is all shaken up still. Jessica has doubts about her in the surgery when her hands are shaking.
- They find out that Cade's father has the same blood type and that he's scheduled to get there on the next flight from Seattle but Billie suspects that Cade banked her blood somewhere else so looks into her last hospital she worked at
- Kit gets ambushed during a press conference about the shooting by people questioning her about Jimmy Miller and his anti-vaxx situation.
- Jimmy is podcasting live from his room when he has another fit and AJ and Devon rush to his aid to assist him while his wife Lola freaks out. As they treating him, Jimmy admits that he did get vaccinated and wants those lungs.
- Cade's blood from AGen arrives and they have to warm it up because it's frozen too hard the bags start leaking and the blood gets contaminated.
- Devon proposes that they use a blood substitute on Cade.
- Jimmy fits the criteria and they can do the transplant but they also can't reveal that he's actually vaccinated, so people will think they violated their policy
- They inadvertently tell Lola that Jimmy is vaccinated when she figures out the truth and she says that Hipaa doesn't apply to her so shell tell the truth that he's been lying because she got a blood clot from COVID and their son got measles and pneumonia because of Jimmy. She gets a bunch of vaccinations and releases the truth.
- They go ahead and agree to give Cade the hemo
- Conrad and Billie talk about Cade and his issue with getting close to people after Nic.
- Cade wakes up and is okay. Conrad is elated. Her father arrives.
