- Padma is gearing up for her c-section and is typing up her will and testament. She's aware of how she made all these big life decisions with little thought.
- Devon overhears Leela promise to take care of the babies if something happens.
- Cade and Conrad are on the GO-team and are wrapping up a case.
- They heard gunshots and find a man has been shot and the car takes off.
- They have to take the man in Cade's car because he's already hemorgagging
- THey divert them to Chastain even though another hospital is closer and that hospital hangs up on them because a GSW victim is pricey
- Ian finds out that they have mandatory drug testing to do that day
- He tries to flush the drugs out of his system
- The patient, nickmamed Eucalypstus has as thready pulse and the bullet hasn't exited him. The bullet took out something vascular and he needs instant surgery
- Kit and Conrad recognize that public hospitals eat all the costs with GSW's and stabbings because they're uninsured and low class.
- Padma's c-section is delayed.
- Cade learns about the mandatory drug testing.
- Winston searches for Eucaplyptus' information.
- Ian runs a self drug test to see what comes up in his system and he's still coming up dirty so he writes himself a prescription to cover his tracks.
- The bullet is at the spinal chord and needs to be removed which means another team for surgery
- Cade overhears that the drug test must be because someone suspects someone is using. She sees Ian confidently giving up his results.
- Cade pulls Conrad aside and asks him about telling Kit his suspicons. He admits he did without mentioning Ian specifically.
- They have a disagreement but more issues with Eucalyptus come up.
- They have to keep shifting surgeries around which puts Padma behind again.
- AJ and Leela get called into surgery again. They bump a bypass to free up more blood for Eucalyptus.
- Padma has an abruption but there are no OR's available so Devon talks to Billie about canceling an apendectomy and Padma goes into shock.
- The babies are fine but Padma needs more blood but the GSW used it all up and they only have two units of unmatched blood even though they need four
- Leela performs surgery and ties off the bleed on Padma and she survives.
- AJ hold his sons.
- Eucalyptus racks up almost half a million in expenses
- Kit tells Ian that he tested positive for benzos. He uses the back pain thing and tells him that he can't operate while it's still in his system and he has to retake the test in a week.
