Through the beginning of season one of Outlander, the chemistry and buildup between Jamie and Claire ran rampant. His loyal protection of her, his devotion, that accent, and let's face it, his incredible good looks, made viewers swoon aloud. Many fans of the books awaited their wedding, high anticipating... well, you know... and viewers who didn't know what to expect were pretty darn delighted. The moment when Jamie and his, "Sassenach," got down and dirty was easily one of the hottest things to happen on television, and worth every second spent in anticipation.

Cancer brought April and Leo together, a friendship that otherwise seemed unlikely, considering her driven and uptight attitude, and his tendancy to leans towards cockiness, and dangerous scenarios. As Leo and April got to know each other in their cancer support group, they both let their guards down, and gradually, April saw what a kind and generous man Leo was as he helped members of the group live out their dreams before death. April also began to see, with Leo's help, that while her future was important to fight for, she also needed to live in the moment and allow herself to have fun. April allowed herself to do just that, after Leo helped a friend by throwing them an early funeral. She and Leo gave in to their increasing attraction, right there in the funeral home. Living in the moment never looked so good.

On paper, Mindy and Danny should never work...they'd never be more than work colleagues. As their friendship blossomed, we began to see the effects that they had on one another's personalities. Danny helped Mindy to mature a little, while Mindy loosened Danny up a little more. They went out of their way to do zany things for one another (Danny's secret Santa dance? If you haven't seen it, look it up immediately.) So when a plane ride from L.A. to New York hit major turbulence, it made perfect sense that Danny would evaluate his life, and race to passionately kiss Mindy, in a grand gesture of romance that was also incredibly, over-the-top hot. That kind of spontaneous romance is always worth waiting for.

Jon Snow took a vow of celibacy when he became a member of The Night's Watch. No woman would distract him from his vow (which seemed like a real shame, given how darn handsome he is.) All of that changed when he met Ygritte, a Wildling woman he met after defecting from The Night's Watch on the orders of his commander. Ygritte challenged Jon to give in to his human desires, and taunted him mercilessly about the things he didn't know. But after weeks together, in a cave, under a hot spring waterfall, Jon Snow showed Ygritte that there were many things that he did, in fact, know. Knowledge is power.

What started as French lessons led to love for Spencer and Toby. Spencer took a job tutoring Toby in order to do some sluething on who A was. She let her guard down with Toby, and as she got to know him better, the two developed a geuine friendship. They also became partners in the mystery of A, as they worked together to try and stop Toby from being framed for Alison's murder. Their friendship wouldn't stay platonic. An overnight trip to a motel found Spencer waking up wrapped around Toby, and a setup from A led to one seriously sexy smooch.
