Now that we are well into the 2017-2018 TV season, it's time to take a look back at how CBS is performing.
We are inching nearer to the network's annual upfront presentation, and some shows are emerging as likely candidates to be canceled.
While some shows are on the bubble, there are others that are performing so bad that they are likely to get the pink slip in May.
Have a look at our predictions for your favorite CBS shows below!
1.
The Big Bang Theory - Renewed!
This veteran comedy series is averaging 14.8 million viewers and a 2.9 rating among adults 18-49. It secures huge gains when delayed viewing is factored in.
2.
Young Sheldon - Renewed!
This spin-off of The Big Bang Theory is holding up well. It is averaging 12.9 million viewers and a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49.
3.
Mom - Certain Renewal
It's not often TV shows are up in the ratings year-to-year, but Mom is up slightly in the demo. It is averaging 8.8 million viewers and a 1.5 rating. It will definitely be back.
4.
NCIS - Certain Renewal
NCIS is down 15 percent this season to 13.3 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in live + same day results. There's no way CBS will not renew the series.
5.
Kevin Can Wait - Certain Renewal
Kevin Can Wait controversially killed off one of its leads, and the ratings have been down as a result. Season 2 is averaging 6.7 million viewers and a 1.3 rating. Still, CBS will keep the show around. The network has bigger fish to fry.
6.
Bull - Certain Renewal
Bull is down over 15 percent in Season 2. Most recent averages have the series clocking in at 10.5 million viewers and a 1.2 rating. That will be enough to keep the series on the air.
7.
Life In Pieces - Likely Renewal
This comedy series is relatively stable in Season 3. It is averaging 6.7 million viewers and a 1.2 rating. CBS does not own the show, but it is performing well enough to be on the 2018-2019 schedule.
8.
SEAL Team - Likely Renewal
SEAL Team has been turning in passable ratings on Wednesday nights. It is averaging 7.2 million viewers and a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49. It gets a decent boost and is owned by CBS.
9.
Man With a Plan - Likely Renewal
This Matt LeBlanc-fronted comedy is down just over 10 percent and is averaging 6.1 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. It is owned by CBS and is the second highest rated Monday comedy on the network. It should be safe for at least one more year.
10.
S.W.A.T. - Likely Renewal
S.W.A.T. has not been the breakout success many thought it would be, but it is performing well enough to stick around for another season. It gets a healthy boost with delayed viewing factored in.
11.
Hawaii Five-0 - Certain Renewal
Hawaii Five-0 has dipped in Season 8. It is averaging 8.8 million viewers and a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49. It is still a solid option for Friday nights, and it's difficult to imagine it being canceled.
12.
Criminal Minds - Could Go Either Way
This once hot crime solver has continued to drop in Season 13. It is averaging 5.8 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. It still secures solid gains in delayed viewing, but a decision could come down to the wire.
13.
NCIS: New Orleans - Could Go Either Way
This NCIS spin-off is down around 15 percent vs. last season. It is averaging 9 million viewers and a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49. The show secures an 80 percent boost when delayed viewing is factored in. There are pros and cons to renewing it for another season.
14.
Me, Myself & I - Canceled
This comedy series failed to garner a substantial crowd. It averaged 5 million viewers and a 1.0 rating before being canceled.
15.
9JKL - Certain Cancellation
Despite stabilizing in the second half of its run, 9JKL's ratings spell a certain doom for the series. It averaged 5.3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating.
16.
NCIS: Los Angeles - Could Go Either Way
This veteran series is down almost 30 percent year-to-year. It is currently averaging 8 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. For Sunday night, the ratings are decent, but its fate will likely rest on whether CBS continues to air scripted series on the night.
17.
Superior Donuts - Could Go Either Way
This comedy series is averaging 5.3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. It's not performing terribly, but it has long to go before being at syndication levels. Its fate will likely rest on the strength of the network's pilots.
18.
Blue Bloods - Likely Renewal
This veteran procedural is down over 20 percent. It is averaging 9.4 million viewers and a 0.9 rating. These figures are still decent for Fridays. It's hard to imagine CBS parting ways with it.
19.
Wisdom of the Crowd - Canceled
This Sunday drama series will not be back. It averaged 7 million viewers and a 0.9 rating.
20.
MacGyver - Likely Renewal
This Friday drama is down almost 20 percent in Season 2. It is averaging 7.1 million viewers and a 0.9 rating. It performs well for Fridays. It should be back.
21.
Scorpion - Could Go Either Way
Scorpion is down 30 percent year-to-year. It is averaging 5.3 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49. It still plays well with DVR viewing factored in, but it could very well be canceled.
22.
Madam Secretary - Likely Cancellation
This Sunday night drama is down over 20 percent. It is averaging 6.3 million viewers and a 0.7 rating. The demo tally is low... probably too low to be renewed.
