Suits Season 8 Trailer: Welcome, Katherine Heigl!

Samantha Wheeler is in the building. 

USA Network has shared a first look at Suits Season 8 which introduces Katherine Heigl as a brand new lawyer. 

The teaser aired moments after Suits Season 7 Episode 16, which said goodbye to original series stars Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle. 

It shows Alex (Dule Hill) introducing Samantha to Harvey (Gabriel Macht), and it sounds like all three of them get off on the wrong foot. 

The trio must find a way to get along because, by the end of the teaser, Samantha sends a big demand Harvey's way. 

“I want to be named partner,” she says, “and I want it before the year is out.”

Oh yes, Samantha Wheeler is here, and she means business. 

Heigl's casting was announced earlier this year when it was announced Suits was coming back without the two aforementioned series regulars. 

“Joining Suits was the perfect organic way to not only collaborate with an EP I admire deeply but to also become part of a show and cast that I am an immense fan of,” Katherine Heigl said in January. 

“I have watched Suits from the very beginning and feel incredibly lucky to be the newest member of the Pearson Specter Litt family.”

There's no telling whether Samantha will be a villain or a hero, but we're so on board to find out all the details. 

The teaser also confirms Suits will be back in July, so we only have a few months to ponder the possibilities.
