Hey guys. He's not going anywhere. I think he is just saying it is nice to a have a place to go to if everything falls a part and he has been around show business long enough to know you can't count on anything. As long as the show is on top, and it stays there because of fans like us, he isn't going to leave. He didn't say he wants to go now.

this show would never be the same w/out Mcdreamy, i hope he stays as well,reading this interview just makes him even more appealing

he said hes ready to go back to maine. i think i might cry if he leaves the show, it would never be the same without him! he talks like hes ready to leave show biz, why would he leave already, right when he got back into it! I hope he stays atleast for the end of his Grey's contract!

Thanks for printing the article in its entirety. Patrick always comes across as sincere and down to earth to me and I think that is what comes through also in his portrayal of Derek Shepherd and why he has so many fans. Of course the fact that he looks great doesn't hurt. There is also a nice little article on Isaiah and Jenisa in this month's Ebony that it might be fun for greysanatomyinsider to read. It is about the ten hottest couples and of course has an African American focus, but it has a nice picture of Isaiah an dhis wife.

I want a man just like him! He really is hot, funny and romantic...It's really hard for me to realize that he is a real person with a wife and a daughter and twin boys on the way. To me, the reality is Grey's Anatomy and Meredith and Derek....
