The Mentalist Season 5 Premiere: First Look!

by at . Comments

When The Mentalist Season 5 gets underway on September 30, Patrick Jane will be obsessed with a single question:

What connection does Lorelei have to Red John?

While Jane attempts to decipher this thread left hanging from the May finale, the CBI team will be forced to partner with the FBI in order to solve the murder of a hotel employee.

Both of these developments are teased in the following photos from "The Crimson Ticket," which also include our first look at Ivan Sergei in the recurring role of agent Gabe Mancini. Click around now:

Glad The mentalist will be back for another season. No one could play Patrick Jane better than Simon Baker. The character is so passive aggressive, clever, cunning, sly and even likable. Robin Tunney pulls off her act with Jane perfectly.
All the characters are well played. Good plots.
