yeah zip ties are easy and they had a pointy object (screw) I was almost banging my head on the table thinking, "This is soooo freaking easy for them to get out of." but a small point.

Loved, loved, loved the season opener, especially Castle's "It wasn't a dream?" line, and their flirtatious behavior afterward and throughout the ep, including Beckett grabbing him in the elevator...how delicious! I was so ready for this romance as a fan, and now that it has happened, it is oh so sweet!
Thrilled to see the rest of the characters, but yeah, disappointed that we didn't get more of Lanie and less of Iron Gates.
Oh, and to the person who said Nathan Fillion needs to lose weight, you are totally crazy, he is perfect, ruggedly handsome and just right for his height. I loathe the way that Hollywood forces women and men to be emiciated to the point of illness just to work on TV. It is hideous and evil, and people of all shapes and sizes should be allowed to work on TV as actors/actresses. Look at Melissa McCarthy, who has awards coming out her rump, and Kathy Bates, same story, and neither are a ridiculous size 0. They are real women, and TV should allow for real men, too. I

AWESOME SEASON OPENER!!!!!!!!! ...whatever you do, PLEASE do not screw up their relationship and chemistry with weird psychological problems....just keep it simple. fun, and loving........thank you..... we look forward to our mondays with Castle and Becket, and all their friends.
Of course it was great that these two finally got together. I have always loved this show because of the characters and their relationships but the quality of the plots has varied greatly. This episode had it all going. It is also nice to see the tortured Kate happy with Castle. I suppose the name Kastle for these two doesnt work.

I loved the moment when Kate walked in with coffee and the music recalled the music used in the kiss scene on Always! Perfect! The look on Castle's face in the elevator was so much like the times Beckett has made a comment that made him breathless! This time, he was breathless from an action! Priceless!
Good balance in the show between romantic moments and business! Can we just have Mondays from now on?

Has Kate gained weight over the summer?
She looked a lot less gaunt than towards the end of last season.
Of course.....it could be that she was really into her role and was starving herself to look really bad.....

Everything I hoped for. Bones should have done it like this but they didn't. I really think they played the timing of this perfectly. Lots of fun to be had now!

LOVED it! They finally did it, but they didn't spend the whole episode talking about it. That's what has ruined other shows. The show is about solving crime and Caskett's relationship is, and should be a sideline. We got some closure, of sorts, on Kat's Mom's murder. That storyline didn't move much all last season but it went on steroids last night. A new character was introduced. The only thing that disappointed me was that neither Castle nor Becket knew how to break out of zip ties. I know how to break out of zip ties. Minor point really. LOVE this show!

What would have happened if Castle and Beckett got there first? Smith was certainly surprised to see Castle alive.
ABC really surprises with this excellent program. Great writing, interesting characters, good plots, not too much sex but enough to keep us a little breathless and cast chemistry that is the best on TV. Usually I go to USA network for this kind of show.
Loved the humor, the tension between Ryan and Esposito is understandable but abating, Castle's panic when his mother and daughter came home early... it's all good. The bad guy was rather predicable, we all know politicians are criminals under their expensive suits. But Beckett's standing up to him and making the deal was awesome. That is one scary woman. Just one suggestion. Please go back to her hair style of the first season. It was edgy and powerful. Long hair does not a woman make.

Best show on air.....I am SO glad that Beckett and Castle FINALLY got together; and the way it was done was completely natural. I know they will have LOTS of things to work through and around but doesn't EVERYONE'S relationships! I think it will be good for the comrade of the core group and will make all of those characters closer. This show has it all: humor, mystery, romance AND drama...what a GREAT mix of characters (including mom and Alexis) and story-lines. KUDOS to all involved!!

I was in viewer heaven last night with the return of Castle and was not the least bit disappointed in what I saw. The chemistry between the two Rick and Kate finally hit the boiling point and made the season premiere a super one.

Everything we wanted to see happen...and more :) If someone felt they needed something more, the very last scene inside the elevator nailed it...PRICELESS !!! I don't know how you do it in such a short time (Mr. Robert B's touch?) but it is like covering the whole Bible in less than an hour :) An orgasmic viewing experience tastefully executed by all... CASTLE is CHEEKY !!!!!!

Best show ever! Nice to see Kate and Castle finally getting together. But please don't have a sexy moment every week! That gets tiresome. Kind of like car chases, just takes up time.

Did not disappoint! It was cute, sexy, funny, endearing, suspenful, exciting....everything a good show should be. The entire cast works so well together. I LOVE their chemistry.
Great show last night! Kudos to the writers.Their 'getting together' seemed natural and positive. I know it will be a bumpy road, but that's half the fun! A lot of chemistry between the two. Very good show!

Absolutely loved it and thank goodness for itunes here in the UK. Best show on TV (or PC!) and so looking forward to the rest of the series. Amazing chemistry between Nathan and Stana.

The show last night was a real treat! Love it!! I am so glad that Castle and Beckett are together and I hope they stay together, move in together and that Martha and Alexis love her, too. The story line was great I do hope the underlying issue of Beckett's mother is resolved soon.

There is ONE arc that the writers and producers BETTER NOT EVER DO in future episodes... something that occurred on Suits at the end of the Summer Season.
NO AFFAIRS that lead to a rift between Castle and Beckett. If they try to be dramatic and jump the shark with this plot line, I will be done with the show.
Other than that... there pretty much isnt any plot line they could go with that I wouldnt enjoy, or at least accept in the show.
Castle: Katherine Houghton Beckett, will you marry me?
