It's the seven-year anniversary of Supernatural debuting on The CW.

So it's only natural for the network to release a quartet of new photos today, all of which are from the Supernatural Season 8 premiere and all of which depict a reunited Sam and Dean, following the latter's pesky trip to Purgatory.

As outlined in the official network synopsis, the October 3 opener will find the brothers tracking down Osric Chau's Kevin, who is the only person who can comprehend the words of God and help the Winchesters close the Gates of Hell. Forever.
