Chaln saws were flying on Bones Season 12 Episode 6, as a lumberjack contest led to the murder of a lumber jill.

Below, TV Fanatics Ashely Bissette Sumerel and Chirstine Orlando are joined by Pam, a Bones fan, to debate whether Hodgins falsified evidence, who is their favorite intern and if they’d attend the lumberjack games after viewing “The Flaw in the Saw.”

Do you think that there is any possibility that Hodgins falsified evidence to free Zack?

Ashley: I hate to say it, but sure. I could see Hodgins doing something like that if he had a good reason to, and saving Zack would certainly be a good reason.

Pam: Yes, I think he is trying to help Zack because Zack tried to help him with finding a way to help him walk again. By helping him in return, it is his way of paying him back. Deep down he knows Zack isn't a murderer.

Christine: Ugh. I really don’t want to think that Hodgins would go as far as to falsify evidence. I really hope that’s not what’s happening here because I’d find it very disappointing to end the show on that note for him.

The lumberjack games…would you attend, or play?

Ashley: No way! That's too scary for me, and I have no interest in chain saws.

Pam: If I was 30 years younger I would play, but now only attend!

Christine: Chain saws, axes, and extreme heights. Hell, no. I don’t want to be anywhere near it.

What was the funniest moment from this episode?

Ashley: It's a toss up between Brennan and Booth doing the log roll competition together (is that what it's called) and Hodgins and Rudolfo with those chainsaws!

Pam: Bones and Booth talking to the main lumberjack guy and the confusion about who was Bones and who was Brennan.

It was nice to get to reference that she doesn't like Booth to call her Bones, although really she loves it. It was good to hear her complain about it after all these years. Flashback to Bones season 1.

Christine: I'll never look at a golf club without smiling...

Booth: Four years of playing golf and you're still calling it a golfing stick.
Brennan: It's a stick you use to golf, how is that not accurate?

Out of all the interns at the Jeffersonian, who is your favorite?

Ashley: I think my favorite will always be Wendell, but Jessica has continued to grow on me.

Pam: Wendell.

Christine: Definitely Wendell. He’s the nicest and most normal of the bunch. He’s survived a deadly illness, and he fits in the best out of all the interns.

Was there anything about “The Flaw in the Saw” that disappointed you?

Ashley: I wish there would have been a little more focus on the evidence Hodgins had to help Zack. I felt like that was glossed over too much, and it's something we've been waiting and waiting to spend more time on this season.

Pam: No romance between Bones and Booth. Why is it that writers can't seem to write romance on a series after couples marry? The romance and love don't leave once you say I do.

The romance is what brings a vast majority of viewers to a series where the lead characters have chemistry and story lines that have them attracted, dating and then marrying.

Fast forward a season or two and they move on and leave out the romance. We no longer see it, but hear about it vaguely from time to time to appease us that they are actually still in love.....

Christine: I was disappointed that Cam was so quick to accuse Hodgins of manufacturing evidence to save Zack. She could have looked into it further or at least told him they’d need more than that to make Zack’s case. After all of their years working together, it was insulting to have her jump to the worst conclusion so quickly.

Pam: Cam walking into the lab to find sawdust all over the floor, then we see a close up of her shoes. She wants to know what is happening and the answer is that the guys are playing with the chain saws!

Christine: Aubrey eating those flapjacks. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed anyone enjoying a stack of pancakes more then he was in that scene. It made me wish I could taste them too.
