The laywer tells Kim and Adam that being a blood relative carries a lot of weight and that they could lose Makayla.
Kim distracts herself by responding to a case. She finds a body with a decapitated hand and throat lit.
Morris speaks to why he's best to raise Makayla. They bring up the race element.
They find another body with the same MO.
They realize that they have a serial killer.
Kim feels inadequate when she can't do Makayla's hair properly. She calls Kevin for help and goes to see him with his aunt there.
They find footage of two women at a crime scene. They go to the people's house but no one is there and they find Jackie's brother, who relays that his sister joined a cult
They chase Jackie down in a grocery store
The judge allows Theo to access Burgess' medical records to build a case around her almost dying.
Burgess breaks down that the men Jackie attacked were innocent guys that made Micah mad and that Micah lied about them being after their family
Burgess finally gets through to Jackie.
Jackie gives up Jenny and says she killed all the victims
They decide to wire up Jackie and send her back to Micah to get enough for a warrant on him
Micah is suspicious of Jackie and finds the wire.
They breach the place and Burgess goes after Micah
Burgess takes Micah down.
Kim asserts herself as Mack's mother on the stand. She finds out that they have won the case. She and Adam are about to head back home to celebrate. They get home and see the babysitter dead on the floor and Mack is missing.
