- Burgess doesn't know if she'll ever be ready to go back.
- Ruzek meets up with an informant about a drug deal. He tells her to be careful and he'll meet her later that night.
- They get a radio call of gunshots where Ruzek is supposed to meet Ava. When they arrive, they find her possibly raped and dead.
- She recorded some of the person killing her.
- Ruzek asks Trudy if a desk job is available for Burgess.
- They get a hit on a Deshawn fleeing the scene and he ahas a hell o a rap sheet. When they go to his house, shots are fired at hhim. Hailey catches him.
- They find another victim, Sarah, who is catatonic and not talking, but similar car left where she was.
- Kim is still tense and has PTSD.
- Voight goes to talk to Kim when he hears that she may be looking for a desk job.
- He enlists Kim's help talking to the rape victim in hopes of getting her back out there. She speaks to the rape victim.
- Kim confronts Ruzek about giving other people the impression that she doesn't want to come back to work.
- Kim talks to Sarah's ex and learns that Sarah and Ava had the same parole officer, Gary Franklin and that's who the lead is. He was abusing the women.
- Atwate and Ruzek find the next victim, Casey, and hunt down the suspect.
- Casey was shot and stabbed over 20 times.
- Kim and Hailey speak to Sarah again. They want to talk about Franklin.
- Kim connects with Sarah about her own shooting and how her memory always changes. Sarah names Franklin.
- She agrees to wear a wire, but when Kim and Hailey go to pick her up, she's gone.
- Kim offers to go undercover to get Franklin to talk.
- She tells Franklin that Sarah wants money to keep her mouth shut and she'll meet him to get it.. He arrives late but wants to go to a different location. She notices he has a weapon. Kim follows him despite the risks.
- Gary attacks Kim, and she shoots him.
- Kim meets up with Sarah to tell her that she's safe.
