Robin and Barney are not happy when Ted tells them he is bringing Jeanette to the wedding. Soon after, Ted finds himself single once again. Barney reveals that The Playbook still exists and tries to use it to help Ted find a date for the wedding. Marshall accompanies Lily to an art show, where she hopes to impress an up and coming artist. Marshall does his best to show his support, but ends up causing quite a scene. Robin visits Barney and is furious to see The Playbook. With his wingman chasing after his bride to be, Ted is left alone and gets back together with Jeanette. Jeanette finds the playbook and burns destroys it along with all Ted's stuff, officially putting an end to their relationship.
