Detective Wilden confronts the girls and cautions them about spreading rumors. Hanna tells her mother about Wilden's possible involvement with Ali. Later, Wilden warns Ashley to keep her daughter quiet and then pulls over her to threaten her some more. A terrified Ashley runs down Wilden when he appears to reach for his gun. When she and Hanna return to the scene later, Wilden is gone, but his car, along with a recording of the incident, remain. Meanwhile, Ezra returns and wants to continue seeing Aria, but his mother also comes back to interfere in their relationship. Emily, Paige and Hanna are able to steal the invoice for the rental of the Queen of Hearts costume. Spencer breaks out of her funk long enough to hook up with Wren once more; however, she is punished by A for kissing Wren and locked in steam room until Aria saves her. Also, CeCe reveals that Melissa really wanted those videos that Ali had the night she died, and it was Melissa who took the picture of Ali, Wilden, and CeCe.
