It's been one week since Michelle Vega's funeral and on one knows where to find Patrick Jane. Lisbon is upset because he isn't returning her calls. When a double murder has Abbott asking where Jane is, Lisbon issues a warrant for his arrest to get him back to the FBI. She's angry with Jane but he says she should have known he'd be back. She makes it clear that she didn't. Jane says he needs some time to deal with things.

Gabriel Osborne turns up and tells the team that he's a psychic and has been having visions about the murders. Lisbon doesn't believe him but Wiley thinks he might be a psychic when he gives Wiley a message from Vega.
Jane finds a cabin in the woods near a lake and it's for sale. He smiles and then heads back to the FBI and tells Lisbon he's ready to return, just when the team uncovers five more bodies murdered by the same killer. When they can't hold Gabriel, the stakeout his house but Gabriel ends up dead with FAKER carved into his skin.
