Lisa meets the only Springfield Elementary graduate to ever go to an Ivy League school (Yale). The graduaste tells Lisa she needs to pad her resume and after failing to take up fencing, she decides to coach Bart. After getting some advice from the geeks of Springfield, she uses sabermetrics to lead the Isotots to victory. Eventually, Bart gets sick of Lisa taking all the fun out of baseball and ignores her advice and tries to steal home. They lose, but it shows Lisa the fun in baseball.
