When Mr. Burns cancels the dental plan just as Lisa needs braces, Homer convinces his co-workers not to give up the plan and becomes the new head of the union.  Homer leads his co-workers in a strike, and holds out even after Burns cuts out power, and ends up striking a deal with Burns.
