Bart is expelled from Springfield Elementary and Marge begins to home school him. When Springfield's annual holiday, Whacking Day arrives, a day designed around clubbing snakes, Lisa protests to deaf ears. Eventually, Bart helps her convince the town of the horrors of the holiday, and Skinner allows Bart back in school.
