The news for American Horror Story: Apocalypse just keeps getting better!
Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and Stevie Nicks are the latest cast members confirmed to be returning, according to co-creator Ryan Murphy.
"Guess who's coming back for AHS APOCALYPSE? Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and....Stevie Nicks. So thrilled the family is together again! #AHSApocalypse," he shared on Tuesday morning on Twitter.
Murphy previously revealed during a Q&A that all the witches from Coven were invited back. Given that the series is already in production, many have questioned whether this would actually happen.
The series is usually shrouded in secrecy, so there's a good chance the returnees have already been filming for the FX hit.
Farmiga played Zoe Benson on Coven, Conroy played Myrtle Snow, Rabe played Misty Day, Sidibe played Queenie and Nicks played herself.
It's unclear at this stage what capacity they are returning in, but just catching up with these characters will make for some great scenes.
The other significant return we already know about is Jessica Lange, who is returning to the franchise after a 3-year-hiatus.
She will reprise her role of Constance Langdon from American Horror Story: Murder House. The character was last seen on American Horror Story Season 1 Episode 12 when she returned home to find her grandson, Michael had murdered his nanny.
Michael is believed to be the Antichrist and is expected to be the reason for the world coming to an end.
Cody Fern will play a grown-up Michael on Apocalypse.
