i noticed the girl passing by that rlly looked like alison too :O and i think the black swan was hannnas mother!! it luked like her plus she might b teaming up w/ lucas (who locves hanna)and jenna (who owes hanna) to help her daughter and find out the truth! :P

If you guys read the book like you said you would know "A" is Alison's twin sister and she had a team of people working for her which was revealed today in the show "A-Team"
Look at the scene where Mona had a flashback in today's finale and the biggest clue which pointed who A is was the Red Jacket which Alison wore. Who visited Mona at the end in a Red Jacket? End of story.

alison is still alive and they all have some plan to frame garrett i think. lol. the red trench coat at the end that the pack leader was wearing. and at the masquerade ball ali def walked past mona looked so much like her. and i have no clue who the mysterious black dress person was maybe it was vivian (ali's alter ego) haha idk

and yet again, another disappointing finale of PLL.
i also thought it was either mona, noel, or caleb (for some reason).. but since marlene king said that it was going to be like the books, i crossed out mona, and thought it was caleb, because they don't really show much of noel.
NOW, this episode made me think that there are many members in this "A Team"..
1) MONA (which we now know)
2) CALEB
3) NOEL
4) MELISSA
5) JENNA
6) GARETT
7) DR. SULLIVAN (yea, for some reason i have a strong feeling about this)

c. Does Mona being part of A mean that Noel (her once-boyfriend) and anyone else who has close contact with her is also on the A-team?
d. What about Melissa? Did anyone else catch that Melissa happily enjoyed Aria's TOFFEE ice cream and then Mona commented on the TOFFEE lipstick she was wearing? Is this a connection between these two bitches?
e. Sorry, but the ONLY reason I care about Maya's death is because of how heartbroken Emily was. I could never stand Maya, and I don't think she and Em ever made a good couple.
Overall, I feel very let down. But, yes, I'll be watching this summer to see if they can redeem themselves...

I love PLL...but the season finale totally disappointed me...I figured Mona had something to do with it...but she wasn't "A"....maybe the next season we will finally find something out.P.S. why was Melissa there when Mya's body was supposedly found?

I am, like most everyone else, very disappointed in this finale as well. Here are a few thoughts:
a. I could have told you after probably less than ten episodes of this series that Mona was A, if I'd had to guess. It was so completely obvious, not to mention straight out of the book. The writers really screwed with us because, as Meg said, we were lied to either way. At this point, do we really even know anything more than we had been guessing?
b. I think that, since they're already using the book as the script, they'll continue to do so with the "Alison has a twin" storyline, despite how stupid I think it is. My theory is that Alison's twin sister (Courtney?) died and everyone thought it was Alison. Mona, however, is actually Alison's little minion and they're working together as A. (Yes, that would mean it was Alison herself in her classic red coat who visited Mona at the end of the episode.)

I always suspect it was Mona and they did not really follow the books because Mona said that is was a group of them that was A and in the books it was only her until she died. I also suspect Lucas and he probably part of the A team. I was glad that Spoby is back and Haleb was such awesomeness too. I don't like Ezria so I cannot say for them and they need to find a love interest for Emily that I actually like.

any way that you look at this finale the writers lied. if mona really was a then they lied because they said it wouldn't be the same as the books which seriously how close were those last 10 min to being straight out of the book. on the other hand if mona wasn't a then they lied because they said we would find out who a is and i took that to mean the real a. Idk i was just left seriously underWhelmed by that finale. we found out nothing really and not much happened. Mayas possible death felt cheap. i was also left confused about how toby found dr. sullivan didn't that seem a little bit suspicious. i really hope the show redeems itself when it returns. and do we all feel positive black swan is ali or twin

dissapointed. Please we were told that the show was to differ from the book, so even though the motivation or the explanation is different, Mona being A is downright bad. And I loved the first 40 mins of the episode, dont get me wrong. And then we find out there's a mastermind who controls crazy Mona... that was a bit of a cop out. so yeah, the finale could've have been so much better.

I personally guessed it was Mona from day 1. I'm really disappointed. And did Mona actually kill Alison? I don't think so. Isn't that the whole mystery of it all? Oh whatever this show doesn't really hold my interest anymore. I'll be over in my Vampire Diaries corner with all the crazies if you need me.

After watching the show and reading this review, I'm even more disappointed in the finale than ever. I know it's not like PLL is going to win any Emmy awards anytime soon, but I feel like this finale was thrown together randomly. It's pretty clear that Mona never acted on her own. Now she has a personality disorder, is in a mental hospital, and is obviously reporting back to someone else...which means that the real A is still unknown. I was really hoping for at least one shocking moment, and all we're really left with is more questions and uncertainty.
