Voight meets with Anna and tells her to get closer to Escano since enough time has passed.
Anna isn't making much progress.
While Hailey and Halstead are sitting on the bakery, they see a gunman walk up and shoot at the window. He hits a man and misses the man's pregnant girlfriend. Anna comes out to help, but her cover isn'tblown
Joshua the ex gang member dies at the hospital so they must investigate the murder
The person who shot him comes into the bakery after hours with the gunshot wound from Jay shooting him and needing help while Anna and Escano are there alone. It's how she gets in with Escano.
Escano wants to burn him to stop the bleeding but Anna refuses. He tells her to sew him up insead. She asks for help, but she's emotional and wants help but they won't go in.
Anna gets her in when Escano makes her babysit the guy who got shot and remembers her name.
Anna confronts Voight, Halstead, and Hailey about leaving her there to save Adrian. They tell her that they knew she had it and they'll go in if she's in danger.
She goes back to babysit Adrian after Voight reminds them how important this all is. She asks Adrian why he showed back up at Escano's bakery and if Escano is the one who made him shoot Joshua, but Escano overhears and questions her about that.
