Robin experiences major anxiety on her wedding day as How I Met Your Mother returns. Ted recounts the time he insisted on Victoria leaving her fiance' a note explaining why she could not marry him. Ted runs into Victoria's fiance' (Thomas Lennon) who explains to him why he too cannot go through with the wedding. Marshall and Lily are severely sleep deprived thanks to baby Marvin and accidentally tell Quinn about Barney and Robin's relationship. Barney recounts the entire story of Robin and her involvement with both Ted and himself. Robin tries to assure Quinn she no longer has any feelings for Barney and announces that she has a new boyfriend (Michael Trucco).
