Cassie's dear husband serves her breakfast in bed. Have we ever seen their bedroom before?

Joy and Donna are chatting about what's next, and Donna says she put in a bid on a huge place in Vermont.

The ruby heart is cracked almost entirely through. Abigail and Donovan have no idea why they broke up. Martha urges them not to give up.

Cassie feels weird in the shop. There is a cloth bag filled with dirt, and Martha is dying to know what it is, but Cassie has no idea.

Martha's housewarming party has her concerned. When Cassie offers her help, Martha then knows everything will be perfect.

Grant forces Sam to take a vacation. He's got 42 days stored, and at the hospital, it's not elective, it's mandatory.

Stephanie is struggling with the thought of trying to carry on a long-distance relationship. She's wondering if they should do the right thing or the thing they want to do. But she's not sure what either of those things is.

Abigail and Donovan have up a crime board to track the curse. Sam offers to help.

Horrible flowers arrive at the mansion, and Cassie wonders why Martha didn't ask Abigail to do the flowers. Joy wouldn't help celebrate anything to do with Roderick's house.

Sam is on a two-week vacation, making BLTs. Cassie has good news -- the professor is taking an extended sabbatical, and Cassie has the job.

Abigail and Donovan are aching to be together. To ensure they aren't both doomed, Donovan says the three words.

Adam is sharing his purchase of an engagement ring with Sam. He's asking her to marry him because he wants to make sure she's still there when he comes back. Sam calls him out on it, but Adam brushes it off.

Martha's chandelier arrives. It's a Barbie chandelier. Tom says, "It's pretty!"

Cassie and Sam spend time together in her new meditation room. She tries to initiate Sam.

Sam cannot meditate any better than I can. Hopefully, he'll find his center so that I can learn from him. Nope. All the relaxing is stressing him out. And all the stressing out is not allowing Cassie to relax.

Martha begs Abigail for flowers. Abigail is very angry. I wonder if they need to be at that restored house to break the curse.

Cassie and Donna have a chance to catch up, talking about having Joy's back. Donna helped her a lot after her mother's death.

Donna thinks maybe she could get used to small-town life.

Sam helps Cassie putt. It's his mantra.

Abigail is done with the curse. She and Donovan are going to that party, and they're going to dance and have fun, forgetting all about the curse.

Martha worries that Cassie's smudge sticks expired. Or maybe they're duds. When Cassie asks what could make Martha cancel, that's when she realizes that it's not all bad news anyway.

Stephanie's family is excited to meet Adam. He can't say that he'll be around during the holidays, crushing her.

It's the open end of Adam's journey that Stephanie cannot live with, and he does nothing to persuade her otherwise.

Tom got Martha a dual strand pearl necklace with a cameo. In walks Joy and Donna with the chandelier and Abigail with the flowers.

Cassie has her pottery wheel out, and she's making something because inspiration struck her. This is something that appeals to Sam. Being a surgeon, he should be able to do this. But he crushes it. Then they work together Ghost style

Donna announces they got the Vermont remodel, and Joy isn't pleased.

Donovan finds a piece of paper on the ground, but Abigail calls him out on looking at curse materials. She's all dressed up, and they're ready to kiss.

The party is beginning. Martha walks down the stairwell to the entryway just as Sam and Cassie arrive. It's a full house.

Martha calls it Tinsdale Manor. Joy gets applause for the work she did on the house. Everyone is happy, and the orchestra starts playing.

Adam is dressed up at the Bistro looking at his ring when Stephanie enters. She looks gorgeous. He says she's stunning. She doesn't want to argue anymore. He pauses his decision to propose. Dottie taunts Martha with a backhanded compliment.

Adam and Stephanie talk individually with Sam and Cassie, neither of them happy.

Donna shuts down Martha's friend's offer to renovate the house with the news that they've accepted the Vermont job.

Joy is trying to talk herself into going to Vermont. She's hoping to find advice, but she's got to make the decision on her own.

Donovan takes Abigail to the library for a kiss. Dottie interrupts. She's so happy to see them happy, especially in the place where the curse began.

Dottie didn't win over the Davenports until Donovan's dad asked for her hand.

Adam asks Stephanie to dance. Everyone looks at them.

Then everyone dances closely.

When Sam spots Tom looking through a telescope, Sam gets an idea. What was the guy looking at through the spyglass in the painting? The figurine that Joy's mom left her is connected in some way.

Joy smashes open the dove, and they find the diamond. Massive doesn't do the gem honor.

Martha races to the house with the chest, Dottie following.

The box closes itself, but Abigail still can't say I Love You. then the box starts playing, and another drawer opens. It's an engagement ring. Donovan takes it, and he proposes.

Adam is sitting on a stoop thinking, and he gets a smile on his face.

Joy and Donna talk. Donna should know that that amount of indecision means no. Donna lies to Joy saying they don't have a job there. Joy wonders if Donna will go without her, and Donna lets her sleep on it.

Cassie and Sam arrive back in their bedroom. They've had a busy day. Cassie gets up to do some more putting, but Sam is asleep already.

Cassie pours a cup of tea and revisits the cloth sack with dirt. All three Merriwick women got one. They have no idea what it means.
