Such a disappointment. Watched the first 10 minutes...Viagra for Alan..masturbating for both Alan and Waldon... not funny. Changed channels and watched an old Golden Girls for the next 20 minutes and laughed about once a minute at some really funny stuff. So long 2 1/2 men..will not watch again. Loved the old shows with the old cast...always funny. Ashton is terrible...such a stupid character...cannot believe he did not object to the stupid food fight... Someone's comment suggested Alan goes into the shower and realizes it was all a bad dream (like on DALLAS many yrs ago).

This show needs to be cancelled!!! It just is not the same. Ashton brings nothing to the show. I like all of the other characters. They need tobring Charlie back. The pits, I don't even watch it anymore and it used to be my favorite show.

I think the new show is a great and refreshing start to kick-start a dieing horse. Drunk Charlie, money, women, how many years can you write something new? Gilligan's Island could have went 6-8 seasons. But this was expired.
Now it is off to a new start and can another 8. All you winers are just Charlie fans and not looking at the complete picture. P.S. If I was a writer and an actor I wrote for eight years and he got 1 million per episode and talked shit about my kids and my wife, I would not only fire him I would kick his ass aroud the block. JIM.

AK's part just doesn't fit into the whole plot and setting of the show..Chuck, bite the bullet and bring back Charlie...Unless you don't care about the viewers opinions and you want to continue being a selfish prick who only cares about his "image"...

What a huge disappointment. ;I think AK's character is terrible. It's no longer funny, it's stupid and boring. Even though I gave it a couple of tries, I ended up changing the channel. It's a total loser in my opinion

I am sooo disappointed in the show. I completely hate Ashtons' character. Actually seems like a dumber version of Kelso, if that's possible. I agree with a previous comment about the John Stamos scenario as Charlies younger brother. Also agree that without a change in the main character, the show will bomb.Haven't gotten a good laugh out of it yet and considering it is now off my tivo, I probably won't be watching it anymore. :(

I have been a fan of Two and a Half Men since the beginning. Nothing seems the same. I too may not watch the 5th episode if next week doesnt get better.
None of the cast seems the same. I was very disappointed in Ashton. He doesnt belong with the rest of the cast. Even the house has a different feel. I use to look at it and think wow I would love to have a house like that. The last episode didnt impress me with towels and surf board on the balcony. No one mentioned that none of the lines were funny at all. All remarks about sex. That is about it everything they talked about related to sex. When Charlie was there they had other type of jokes. The show looks like it was bought by another company and they have different writers. Where are the funny jokes. The show gets worse instead of better.

So if Herb ever meets Bridget will he realise that she used to be his sister Myra? Like millions of others I'm a huge fan of the show but surely to expect us to forget an actress who played a fairly big part a few years back is just treating us like morons! On the next season let's have Alan wake up, walk to the shower and find Charlie standing there and that all this miserable season was just a dream!!!!

The real problem with this series now is Jake. He wants to drop out of high school and it looks like this might be an arc for at least a for episodes. Besides from the idea of a lazy, free-loader wanting to suddenly drop out of high school and put effort into starting a business, the real question is: why is Jake still at high school anyway?
Jake's character was 10 when the series began. That was 9 years ago. Going by the timeline of the series, he's 19, right? Did he repeat a grade?

This show isn't the same without Charlie...........the Alan character is way too annoying without Charlie as a foil. As for Kutcher's character Walden, he's boring and irritating. I've watched this show since the beginning, but think I'm going to be turning off very very shortly. Charlie Sheen/Charlie Harper made the show. PS I do love Jake though!

I have loved two and a half men since the start. I am fan of the entire cast but without Charlie the chemistry is just not there. I have nothing against Ashton loved him as Kelso. I watched the new episodes with an open mind but after 3 I can't take it anymore. I don't think you can replace Charlie's character with Kelso!!!!!

@MJR - Sorry to burst your bubble but Berta, Jake and Alan DO NOT continue to be awesome! This show really does need Charlie, and nobody, but nobody can fill his shoes no matter what you think! He's the glue that holds the entire cast together. The co-stars (although good) just cannot do it alone. And Alan doesn't have what it takes to be the star player. And Kutcher should not even be in the picture - he's the one ruining the show and bring down everyone with him!

The show has gone down hill so fast. Get ashton off the boohoo my life is over i'm not married anymore already and let him cut loose and have fun. Charlie was a drunk womanizer, can you get ashton to that point already. Who wants to watch some guy crying and being depressed all the time. Make us laugh, or get someone else that can play the part of Charlie. And John Cryer is just pathetic without Charlie Sheen upholding him
Walden: Hey, what are you doing..? Alan: Just going down memory lane. This is a photo book Lyndsey gave me, oh look, here we are at the Santa Monica pier, "O...
