Toby is obviously working an angle to protect Spencer. Pretty sure Caleb is doing the same (for Hanna).
He's going to end up the "snape" character and I'm pretty sure Noel Khan is going to be a good guy in the end too (that's speculation, though).
"nate" being the killer was obvious, but it was well played. Also the whole who shot Caleb, Nate, Emily, Toby, Paige, Mona, himself , accident or A watching from afar is left in the air for good reasons. If it was meant to be clear they would have just showed it.
Great episode, actually shocking!

Pretty disappointing, I liked Toby's character. He was like the only guy the girls could trust, especially Spencer. But I'm not surprised, it makes sense actually. It was a good way to get closer to the girls, I won't be surprised if Ezra, Caleb, and Paige are involved. Its just a perfect way to know what the girls are doing. I could bet the A team leader is Jason Dilaurentis. It makes perfect sense.

OMG!!!! My heart practically got stuck in my throat. Forget my throat, my heart fell out of my chest LOL!!!!! I'm still trying to process about Toby, but then again, that dude always struck me as odd in the show from the jump, but I couldn't figure out what until tonight's episode. What the heck did Allison do Toby? I know there is more to Toby's story aside from him having an affair with Jenna. The PLL's have too many against them. SMH ... The anticipation is killing me for October 23rd! But I will be content with watchin the web series of Pretty Dirty Secrets until the Halloween Special. Awesome post btw. :)

There is definitely more to Toby being on the A Team. I think he is doing it as a double agent to try to find out information in order to keep Spencer (and her friends) safe. Same with Mona, because remember how she helped them find Maya's website when she told Hanna the URL in code? Why would she do that if she didn't kind of want to keep them (well at least Hanna) safe? Also, Emily received a warning call from A about Nate when she was in the cabin. I think Toby or Mona called her because they didn't want her to get hurt, but they wanted her to realize who Nate was in order to have Garrett released. Garrett definitely knows a lot about Ali's death so I think they need him out in order to get answers.

I never would have guessed Toby in a million years! Shay Mitchell did an amazing job in this episode. Best episode yet :) Definitely makes up for last seasons sucky ( in my opinion) finale!!!

I think that the Toby reveal wasn't exactlywhat it appeared hence why at the end of the episode we yet again see someone in a black hoodie but not their face and using a voice changer. That obviously wasn't Toby. My theory is maybe Mona and Toby were working together to protect the liars. maybe Paige is an a and they were gonna set her up for the murder to get her put away and keep the girls safe. Also think Emily shot Caleb because she is an a too and that is the real betrayal they were referring to.
