-Jane convinces the final five suspects, Director Bertram, Bret Stiles (who claims he's dying), Ray Haffner, Reede Smith, and Sheriff McCalister to meet him at his home in Malibu to help uncover Red John.

-After telling Teresa how much she means to him and giving her a hug, he ditches her on the beach to meet the Red John suspects alone.

-Jane holds the men at gunpoint and forces them to remove their shirts. Director Bertram, Reede Smith, and Sheriff McCallister all have the three red dots on their left shoulders.

-As Teresa rushes to the scene, a shotgun blast is heard and then there is an explosion inside the home.
