Bones is centered around a forensic anthropologist, Dr. Temperance Brennan, nicknamed "Bones." She's rather cynincal and not exactly in tune with pop culture or current events of any kind. She spends all of her time in the lab.
Dr. Brennan works at the Jeffersonian Institute in the nation's capitol.
She works alongside ex-Army Ranger turned and Special Agent Seeley Booth to help the FBI solve crimes. Together, these two identify human remains that are too far gone for standard FBI forensic investigations. They get to the bottom of murders in just such an unusual fashion, fixing science with basic investigating.
Booth and Bones are also overflowing with sexual tension, adding a fun subtext to the crime of the week.
Show stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz embody the characters they play and they are surrounded by a fantastic supporting cast with Michaela Conlin as Angela Montenegro, TJ Thyne as Dr. Jack Hodgins, Tamara Taylor as Dr. Camille Saroyan and John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets.
Nothing is ever easy for the team and squints come and go as seasons progress, because someone on the team in the middle of the series run becomes someone they never imagined and sides with a killer!
